From the jourial of Aleas the Stormlord:
It was few years after Fall of Inioch when the Elves were forced to abandon the sacred lands of Veridell Forest, as it was raided by Humans and Orcs. But years passed, and finally it returned to Elven race. Yet not at all. We, the true Elves of pure blood, were not allowed to settle in this holy land. So-called queen, Elwyn, proclaimed forest as ,,holy place, free from evil beings of darkness". We - the beings of evil?! That's an outrage! Those Keepers and their pets Humans are true curse of this world! Meandor, the true king, ordered one of his favourite captains, Reltamir the Storm Priest, to retake Veridell by force, but that idiot failed to do so. Other Stormlords say that they've got more important troubles than a God forgotten woodland. Cowards. Only I am eager to fight for our cause. I shall punish Keepers for their treachery. Local Orcs and Goblins are eager fight and banish Keepers from their lands, they just need a leader. I will lead them. Sacred Lands were profaned, but soon they shall be purged with blood...
This map is my first RPG scenario. It is pretty difficult, but if you aren't novice, you should manage to finish it. Just avoid uncessery casualties, use your heroes wisely and arm them with items found in crypts, monster lairs etc. After playing, please rate this map or at last send me an e-mail - I want to know what you think about my maps!
Settings:

DO NOT CUSTOMIZE YOUR LEADER!

Turns should be classic
Enjoy!
Gantaliano Hoff playtested that map and gave me many hints. Thanks a lot, mate! |

This a very nice map with many great terrain features and some hidden surprises. Not too difficult but definitely not easy either. Could have been more expansive in the underground areas, but all in all, a very fine effort! |

Hello!
Just finished playing the game. I had lots of fun beating first the Halflings, then the Dwarves, the Highmen, and finally the Elves!
It was challenging at first and did try a few fresh starts. The first few I was trying to expand quickly but always ended up hitting a dead end of death.
The final time, I bided my time and let the heroes stack up on spell power and stats. Let's just say the black dragons were my way to start making a dent on the other races. The technique was raze cities for everyone else with the black dragons, while only keeping one or two cities of my own at a time. Once the halflings and dwarves died, I reanimated key cities to build an empire on the surface and the caves.
Lots of fun!!!! Now I can sleep, now that the dark elves have regained their due territory and glory.
Cheers,
