AS TO AVOID CONFUSION, THIS IS NOT A NEW UPGRADE PATCH FOR AGE OF WONDERS
This patch only downgrades Age of Wonders to the original American version, Age of Wonders 1.0.0. This patch is the culmination of requests by mapmakers to be able to
have access to the special 'goodies' in the original version of Age of Wonders.
Age of Wonders 1.0.0 provides:
Maps that are compatible for all Age of Wonders versions
The Terrain Inversion Trick
Special abilities for the use item that disappear in later versions
Access to the Elven Court Graphic
The 'downgrade' patch has been only successfully tested for Age of Wonders 1.36.53., so be warned that there might be some errors for other versions of Age of Wonders.
This patch contains all the files necessary to run Age of Wonders Version 1.0.0. To install the 1.0.0 patch, load the patch into your Age of Wonders directory.
