Synopsis:
----------------------------------------------------------
In the First Age of Middle-Earth, the Dark Lord, Morgoth, stole the most prized of all treasures, the Silmarils. These beautiful treasures forged by the Noldorian prince, Feanor, captured the light of the Two Trees of Valinor. Morgoth had coveted these treasures and was the one who personally stole them from Feanor in the Undying Lands of Valinor bring the jewels back to his impregnable fortress, Angband.

The Noldor, one of three groups of Elves in Valinor, enraged by their lose of the Silmarils marched back to Middle-Earth to reclaim them. Feanor and his sons, the most driven to retake these treasures, swore an oath that if anyone kept the Silmarils from them it would mean death to that. The Noldorian host was hopeful for a quick victory, but that was not to be however. Seeds sown for destruction amongst the Nolder manifested itself and the majority of the Noldor barely made it back to Beleriand to fight Morgoth.

In the ensuing battles against Morgoth, Feanor was slain. Fingolfin became the High King of the Noldor and the elves began their long seige of Angband. Humans start to appear in Beleriand, but their allegiance is a double edged sword. For these Children of Illuvater are separated into large factions supporting or opposing the Dark Lord. However, even before the Noldor set foot in Beleriand, two races of light had already made the land their home. The first race being the Sindar, a race of elves that had not joined their kin in Valinor were, ruled by King Thingol, a wise and just lord. The other race, the Naugrim, were a race of Dwarves which lived in sheltered halls of stone southeast of the realms of the Noldorian lords.

After years of uneasy peace and tranquilty, the silence ends. Morgoth erupts his peaks and launches an impressive attack on the Noldor in hopes of wiping them out. Here begins this story, Dagor Bragollach, where songs we will be sung of this dark day...

Forgive me, I know this is not exactly straight to the Silmarillion's Dagor Bragollach chapter.

Thanks to TekkaZeroX who helped me make this scenario and Alex Mars for doing a little beta testing of the map.

Have Fun,
Tekk Zero
