Makes a fun multi-player map. The layout of the land is good (sort of a connected archipelago). I played it hot seat with my brother, he was High Men, I was Elves. Which leads to...

Balance = 2
Balance was pretty bad. I'm not familiar with the D&D characters and setting that the map was modeled after, but the map is heavily tilted in favor of High Men. They start with a higher level king, with more cities, and with a ton of cities in thier reach that can be bought. The Elves, on the other hand, start in the middle of pretty much a vast track of wilderness.

Creativity = 2
The wilderness was too vast and too bleak. No little doodads to spice up the terrain, and the terrain was pretty uninspiring overall. Terrain is mostly open spaces. Little forest cover, etc.

Map Design = 3
The overall shape of the land (the islands and all that) was pretty good and made for a fun game. Things were a little far apart (especially the empty space between the Elves and the Frostlings... oh, and for some reason the Icy Frostling kingdom is right on the edge of the desert.

Story/Instructions = 2
Short and uninspiring intro, no text bubbles.

Overall a fun game to play once, in part because it is so unbalanced (ie: how am I going to compensate for the significant advantage of the Highmen). With Highmen as Comp. the game would probably be more fair.
