Not a lot of terrain on this map, but then again, Gettysburg was darned flat! Humans are the Union, and Orcs are the
Confederacy. It'll go pretty much the same as the real battle (Confederates have to be pretty on their toes to win!)
Have fun (this was just a fun project I put together in about three days. Not like my other map!)
Basically, the shebang is an example of very successful minimalist craftsmanship: there's not a lot of things going on, and the map isn't exactly a work of art, but it's sufficient to convey the feeling of the battle.
Union has a tough early going, but Confederacy has a huge job as they fight for D.C.
Balance was pretty good.
Playability: 5 -the map drops you right into the setting. no glitches, just war.
Balance: 4 -balance is all-around good.
Creativity: 5 -the battle is well represented, heroes are accurate and battle positions are pretty good. the idea is the most unique I have seen since Europe 940 (anyone remember that gem?). And how bout those Rifles?
Map Design: 3 -while the map is well crafted, it's pretty barren. not that it shouldn't be like that, it's just that not much work went into the map itself.
Story: 3 -to put it lower does not do justice to the map, to put it higher does not do justice to unique-story maps.
