Well done map, David! Story is nice, there are three messages, several signs and short yet still O.K. introduction (4 for that point). Terrain is pretty good, perhaps you could leave less blank hexagons, still it looks good. It is also nice that players have to take mole/driller and dig tunnels in order to find the dragons, this way the scenario gets more interesting (4 for map design). Map isn't wildly original in design, however it has original idea, so I give 4 for Creativity. Finally, it is real fun to play it, so I give 4 for playability. It gives 4.0. godd rating, especially if consider that it is your second map. Carry on mapmaking, and don't let us wait for your next scenarios!

Well done! For the most part this was a very fun map to play. I'm not quite as much of a fan of overdone terrain, so I was very pleased with the look of the top level. However the underground looked somewhat...underdone. But the balance was not good. I felt that I won too easily, and maybe more enemies should be in order. Maybe the Lizards should attack more, or if you want the lizards to stay underground, perhaps play more up on the Goblins of the South and actually make them a computer Player. And this fact took the playability down a little. It would have had a five, if there were more things to fight. I found that I was wandering around looking for enemies, when I didn't realize that the only thing to do was defeat the dragons, to finish.

The strong point of this map I believe was the map design. I know some people don't like empty hexes, but I felt it was pleasently full.(on the topside at least) I would stronly recommend that you make a second version with more enemies and the underground touched up some. This map has a lot of potential. Don't take to long with your next maps either. Thanks.
