Goblin War Drums Version 3.0
||TS Standard Rules
This should be the last update for this campaign as I believe all bugs have been fixed. As well the Campaign download has been broken into two pieces. This portion is the Campaign and a separtate download will contain the optional files!!
Preamble to Campaign
In the last days of the Battle at the Valley of Wonders, it became obvious that the forces of the Keepers would be victorious. Meandor in his shame ran from the battlefield pursued by the Elvan Hero, Kinos the Bard. Kinos pursued Meandor through the forests and valleys beyond the Land of Wonders relentlessly knowing that Meandor, though defeated, would surely rebuild his armies to once again threaten the Valley and the peace which was to be won.
Meandor at the end found refuge in a crumbling Wizard's Tower and the old Wizard gave him refuge. Kinos, knowing that the power of the Wizards was beyond his abilities waited patiently for Meandor to emerge. None but the Wizard, saw the battle between Kinos and Meandor, but when Kinos returned to greet Julie with the news of Meandor's death. Those close to Kinos noted that he had changed considerably after the battle with Meandor filled with new magic and new skill with the blade.
Although Julie was sorrowful at the death of her half brother; she nonetheleass praised Kinos for his valour, and he became one of Julie's chief advisors in the new Court. Julie, however, found it disturbing in her heart to have the slayer of her half brother near to her (though Kinos was faultless in his actions). Thus it became convenient to place Kinos in charge of the western portions of the land, and he was given charge over all the lands west of the Skull. His task was to ensure that the Keepers philosophy of peace and tolerance towards all races was observed, and to especially protect the the 'good' races from the influence of the 'neutral' races.
And so we begin......
The Goblin War Drums
(An Arctic Wolf Campaign)
The baying of the dogs had subsided and Jonathan, The Slayer, returned to the Human encampment, his hands and sword bloodied, but a look of savage contentment upon his face.
"Got four more," he shouted! "Damn that was some fine hunting!"
Gilbraithe, the leader of the Human encampment stepped forward, a troubled look upon his face. "Four Goblins....?" It was a question.
"Of course Goblins," was the retort! "I might of spooked a few Halflings...." the words softened as Jonathan saw the figure stepping out from the shadows......
Kinos! Kinos the Bard!
"Spooked a few Halflings," Kinos asked softly, although it wasn't really a question. "The Keepers are tolerant of the Humans," Kinos continued. "Hunting Goblins for sport although questionable is not a matter for us. Halflings on the other hand...."
Gilbraithe quickly interjected. "He has admitted his guilt Kinos. Take him and do with him what you will." Gilbraithe turned obviously not wanting to face Jonathan. His mind was numb. The Keepers were relentless and there was nothing he could do.
Jonathan's face blanched. First a look of terror, and then quickly one of determination crossed his face as he turned his horse and ran.
But Kinos was ready. Out of the forest three dark riders quickly took pusuit. It was short. It was bloody. Jonathan would never spook Halflings again!
This campaign has been constructed upon the premise of a victory by the Keepers at the Valley of Wonders. The races of evil have been beaten back to the far corners of the land. Orcs and Dark Elves cower in the shadows, and Goblins are hunted for sport. The Keepers rule the entire land preaching of love and tolerance towards all peoples and races. But though they preach of love and peace, their lieutenant, Kinos the Bard, enforces this belief with an iron hand upon all the races who dwell west of the Skull.

It was fun to have a new campaign to play vs. a single map. Nice to be able to develop leader across the levels.
