File Details
Ruleset: TS Standard Rules
Map Size: Medium
Playable Races: One
Surface Levels: 2
Difficulty: Normal
Winterblade, demi-god and hero of the Srethiss Wars, put aside his kingdom and trappings of power and retired deep into the mountains to seek solitude and peace after the chaos and terror of an age of war. It is said that he built a home hidden from the world in a forgotten valley and lived there almost long enough for his name to pass from the memories of man.

When the Tyrant Phalidor of the Azracs tried to conquer the world, he recalled the legends of Winterblade and was uneasy. He called upon his wizards to make sure this forgotten hero did not interfere in his rise to power.

The player controls the Human side against the Azracs.

This map is nice. Story is great, and many text bubbles makes it even more fun.
Details and map layout are ok, but to much underground if you ask me.
Still very playable.

This map is very uber-unit oriented. You start with a level 7 hero, and nearby are a crypt and a castle with incredibly weak opponents guarding incredibly powerful (custom) artifacts. While the map has a cool story behind it, you'll probably miss half the story the first time through, because the text bubbles tend to show up a space or two before combat (either on a path right before guarding units or right by the entrance to a town), so as you step on the space with the note, it pops up for half a second, then the combat menu pops up and the note disappears. While this isn't entirely the mapmaker's fault (part of it is Epic and Triumph's), it could have been fixed by using signposts in a few places rather than, or in addition to, notes.
It's an ok map and fairly fun, worth playing once (or twice to get the story), but not worth much more.

This is a very clever build map.
All the ennemy are insane strong at the start(most of all the final enemy) and you are very weak for a long time, but still a steady advance is quite possible.
It took me 140 days to win!
And way over 100 days to even build my first level 3 unit.
I much enjoyed playing this.
