Back up your files! Insert the zip into the release folder and extract the files into the folder to override (using 7-zip or similar). The change-log files are included.
It is possible to create a separate installation just for the mod. Simply duplication the entire game folder and insert the mod. Create shortcuts and unique names to each aow.exe file.
