Two versions of my big map Serpentis (made a long time ago but never released here).
Normal version is a free for all with the 12 races playable, each starting with a 3 hex city and several other friendly towns nearby.
The hard version is about the fall of the human empire of Serpentis, the 8 playable races being the minor powers, while the humans, their orcs and undeads enemies and the lizardmen start with several cities, lots of gold and big armies. Good factions start allied with the human empire (and so at war with the undeads and orcs) while others are neutral.
Recommanded settings : leaders on (customized... if you absolutely want), explore on (there are several labyrunths), simultaneous turns (because it's looong to wait for the AIs on such a big map).
Note that while I've translated the introduction texts, in map texts and new items names are in french (I'm a bit lazy).
A great map with plenty to do. I'm giving it a full 5! Good for multiplayer or singleplayer. I am tempted to organize a PBEM someday on the Hard version with Players vs AI.

This is one of my absolute favorite maps for multiplayer. It achieves a good degree of balance despite very asymmetrical starting positions. The map is very detailed and in it's scope and attention to detail it ensures some very epic games.
Highly recommended!

I played it a lot and like it very much.
Thanks for the hard work.
