Hi everyone!

It's been a while since my first map. But I promised to release a second one and here it is. I apologize for the delay, for I wanted to release it in 2008, but all this financial crysis stuff took me to work much longer every day and when I came home I never was in the mood to create the map... and I don't want to force myself to work on it. I can imagine, that the result will not be satisfying if I do so.

This one starts where the first one ends.
The Orcs and Goblins have been driven back... for now.
Dwarves and Elves have declared peace to the Humans and it is now up to you to aid them in battle or to search your own way into the south.

Your goal is to reach the city in the most southeastern area of the map. I hope this information isn't a spoiler
Don't waste your heroes, they are unique!

--------------
- choose humans
- design leaders off
- allied victory on
- Exploring must be so, that the fog of war -the black one, not the gray- exists and you can't see all of the map.
I don't know if thats on or off, quite misunderstandable I think. Sorry, hard for me in english! :>
--------------

About the difficulty.... well as I said I'm not much of a player. So It belongs to you how the Enemy should interact.

In my own opinion the map is to big. I overestimated my own motivation, smaller maps are better for me. But please, take a look by yourself.

Have fun and please don't forget to comment and rate. :D

It's an absolute GREAT map!! Just like "From North..." it's great for single player. And it's XL, too!

How long did it take to make?

Thank you Froster! :D

I started in october to build the map. Two or three evenings per week, at least 30 minutes.
But not always like this, at the festive season and between the end of january and something like 18th of february I did nothing.

Just before I finished the map I did a lot more. At first the Lizardmen and Halflings were present at the map, but I deleted them and put their troops to neutral.
Also the wasteland was a forest and the swamp was a wasteland, at first. :>
But the most work, was to copy the southern part of "From North..." to the map. I have done it click by click, hope you recognized.

I would say it took me around 30 hours, maybe more, but it was fun.

Please explain how you played it, which way did you go and all?

Froster Sorry for this VERY late reply, I hadn't checked back here for a while.

When I played I move my Dwarves south through the mountains, and my Human units to the south-east. After I figure out the weren't any Shipyards to cross the river in the middle-east (other than the Orcs'), I move west. With the Dwarves that I moved south, I went around the west side of the Elves to move further south. The Orcs were tough for me (but I'm not all that good at AoW so they might be easy). Goblins were tough to get at because of their cave.

As for underground, I assumed when the message said "you do not have enough forces to win underground" (whatever it said in the tunnel) I assumed it was to make me not go there, so I continued. Then I saw the Trolls and fled. The other Humans that start in the Dungeons I move west and to the Surface. Other than that I didn't explore much underground.

Btw, Exploration ON is what you meant.
And the Lizardmen in the south-eastern marsh would have made it even more fun, with war agaist the Humans.
