Sad, sad news about your site.
It was an excellent resource, with all the info from the developers easily available! Good work!

Interesting last interview!

I was heartened by your efforts to contribute to the game (Man! Two hours per day without pay! That's something!). I was never aware of such a site. Now I know it, but it's gone forever. I checked out your "A Whole New World". I trust that you will have more materials in future and turn it into a great site. I don't really know much else to say about closed Planet of Wonders.

Your last interview with developers is cool. I found lots of new info in there, including the new twelve races and the returning Julia, looking better than ever! That's very exciting...

Game programming is certainly very fun. I wish you the best luck in starting a career in the domain. I had a wish that I could program some games in future, too. But, ... you know, interests change and dreams are sometimes always dreams.

In case you are curious, I am now into or more into netwrok programming and development of web-based applications, nothing too visual. Gee!

Bright was the moon and deep the night;
The stars twinkled, of great delight.
With wings of dream, I searched my soul
To know its truth and find my role.

i've just registered in the forum to tell how much i will miss planet of wonders. so you can believe it was important for me at least. but i'm sure others loved it too, it's bad, baad that you can't see it any more if you haven't seen it yet.

it was a great site.

maybe (i think so) it would deserve at least a headline in the news section, and perhaps a revision or an interview with gameman1a, the ex-webmaster of pow.

A sad, sad day; sorry to hear about the unfair way you were treated by VirtualAve! I can empathise with loosing a lot of content like that, and to have them just delete it too, without any kind of notice! You put a ton of time into something and then, *poof* it's gone.

Thanks for your contributions! AOWH will do its best to carry on the torch of AOW2 news. I just sent you an email, maybe we can work it out so that we can post some of what you have left on your hard drive.

Quoted from Frenchkisser:
Man! Two hours per day without pay! That's something!

Tell me about it.

Man i know how you feel, i cant belive they just deleted it with out notice. Usely these free systems Block all access to the account untill they have reached you and "told" you there complante or your violation on there server. Then some give you a chance to save your work or to fix the problem. that Sux.

Mania, I loved your site and hate to see those jerks do what they did. Know that your efforts were not in vain, and that many people thank you for what you did. Good luck with any of your other online ventures.

sniff...

I never expected this event would happen, hours of work dissapeared in no time at all... Losing Planet of Wonders feels like losing a baby

btw, glad to know how peole love and miss Planet of Wonders ... Planet of Wonders will rest in peace.

2 hours per day, that's mostly for news hunting (gamespot, gamespy, voodoo extreme, bluesnews, message boards, etc), although usually there aren't any news around .

I'll send what's left to you Draco.
