I'm back from my vacation and my postboxes are full of turns.
They will be played as soon as possible.

Going camping and won't be back until Saturday. I've got a couple turns in my inbox that I won't get to until then. Sorry for the delay.

Ok, I bought a new computer and sent out all my games. Thing is I have vista in my comp. Hard to get a new one without vista. Anyway, AoW does work on it with only a small problem. It does not recognise .asg files. I can save them. Open them ingame, but when i want to sent them out it can't find them.Any ideas on whY??????
Anyway, I found a way around it. I now save everything on a external harddisk. More work but it seems to work. Restart messages in al my games because of this.

Sigh. I have wrestled with my computer for days now, and achieved absolutely nothing. I still have no idea if my problems are software or hardware related.
Until I have figured this out (I wonder if I can) I hope I can use my friends computer. This will reduce my playing pace significantly though. I will try to get the turns moving by this weekend, but can't promise anything.
Sorry for the delay.

Ahha! I bet it is my graphics card that is about to fry! Well, I still have problems, but AoW won't crasch (hopefully) anymore now that I disabled Direct3D from the setup.
It seems that I have managed to generate a restart in every single game, some of them have more than one. Sorry about this. I start sending turns forth asap.

I will be on an unexpected business trip from 22nd to 24th April and unable to play any turns, because of no internet access.

Yet another round of restarts. I have reinstalled windows (lots of fun...) to get rid of some problems.

I will be on vacation until May 10th. It's conceivable I'll get to a couple turns, but I don't think so. I apologize in advance for my delays.

I've been very busy in the last week and yesterday and today my internet connection didn't work at home. Thus I haven't been able to play my turns in the last couple of days. I'll play them tonight or tomorrow.

I recently reinstalled AOW, but new issues cropped up, I couldn't see the ownership flags on structures. I ignored it for a few days, but I made a costly misclick in a PBeM game because of this, and I decided I needed to reinstall once more.
Sorry once again for all the restarts.

Welcome Bluebaby,
Your best bet is to come here regularly and wait for a new game sign-up. Better yet, start a new game yourself.
You can also use the other thread with sign-up for random games, but you could end up waiting a month or more...

I'm new here too. I've been on GameSpy a couple of times using the name 'uniquenicknamessuck'.
Bluebaby, we could start a 1 on 1 PBEM game if you want too. I haven't played PBEM before.
