Note: Since no one was able to answer my question about which maps we are waiting for updates on, I went ahead and posted my ratings now. I figured at the very least the mapmakers themselves would have posted, if they didn't want me to rate them on their not-final version.
Name of Map:Land of Sorrow
Rating (marks out of 10):3
Things that I liked:Landscape was imaginative. Independents provided a small amount of challenge.
Things that I disliked:No real story, poor spelling etc. in story, lack of signs/text bubbles to add to the player’s experience, blind tunnels going nowhere, no real opposition from AI opponent. All in all this map was too easy for single player, in my opinion, and would be much better suited for one on one. Unfortunately, even halfway through the map the first time, I had no real interest in playing it.

Name of Map:Road to Hell
Rating (marks out of 10):6
Things that I liked:Very interesting items and heroes.
Things that I disliked:Impossible to change the difficulty of AI players without editing the map. This scenario was excessively hard for me. After I edited the map I finally managed to beat it. Could have used a spell check.

Name of Map:Star Ranger Academy
Rating (marks out of 10):5
Things that I liked:Interesting story, heavy use of text bubbles and so on to lead player along.
Things that I disliked:Password protection makes it difficult to check placement of items/spells. Rigid one-way path makes too narrow a scenario for my tastes. Map is also too hard for me. Should be more clear what you need to do to win, since it’s difficult to go back to earlier wizard towers etc.

Name of Map:Menace from the Deep
Rating (marks out of 10):8
Things that I liked:Good story, interesting terrain, cool text bubbles and so on. Lots of unique and interesting items and heroes. Love the cloak of desire!
Things that I disliked:Could have used more spell/grammar checks. Map takes a little bit too long to play for a small map.

Name of Map:Redemption of Anthur
Rating (marks out of 10):6
Things that I liked:Different items and heroes, map set up forces people to play differently than they usually would.
Things that I disliked:Independents were too strong. I won the map because the lizards and frostlings were destroyed without my help. Although, I suppose I did kill a few… Could have used more spell/grammar checks.

Name of Map:Storming of Ognock
I’m not rating this yet. Since it’s impossible to change the difficulty of AI players without editing the map, this scenario was too hard for me. I might try to play it again after editing the map, and see if I can get past the first ten days or so of playing.
