What's this for? Is this a different fix to the Showscene crash, than the one someone made in 2017? Is it for more convenient graphics modding?
I don't suppose you'd have an idea how to re-implement blue and green blood types? There's residual references to such in the files, but the release version only had Red, Machine, and None as functional options - if you set a unit to Green or Blue blood, it's just red.
I've modded the game a lot, including some hex editing, but I lack the expertise which you seem to have.
