Most people play Shadow Magic, the sequel.

I started off with the demo of Wizard's Throne and Yaka was always a pain. My problem was that I focused more on city upgrades than unit production. Perhaps its something similiar for you.

Did you finish the WT campaign?

I did, and liked it better than the SM one (which I didn't finish). But everything else than the campaign is better in SM

Well I have tracked Yaka to his lair and can finish the scenario when I like. The AI is not very active, is it.
Are there any AI mods?

I decided to explore the entire map and there seems to be an area I cannot get into in the north-east. Does that open-up when I defeat Yaka?

I found the elven city - eventually - I think there should have been some kind of storyline clue about it along the way. It's presence seems somehow random and inconsistent with the storyline of the map.

Are there user-made maps with good engaging storylines?
