Hello together!

First: sorry for my bad english ...

I played this wonderful game the last 7 years on a Macbook pro with a 2,66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Prozessor under WIN95. The Macbook becomes very hot, but everything runs fast.

Then I decided to play it it on a modern Notebook with an i5 Processor under WIN10. Everything runs, but very, very slow. The machine works so long between two rounds, I can cook coffee, ...

What's wrong? The i5 should be much faster then the old core 2 duo. Why does the modern notebook works so long between two rounds?

I get remarkable lag in the AOW1 scenario editor even on a powerful modern mainframe, something strange is going on. But I don't have issues in the game itself. What sort of compatibility settings are you using? Try fiddling around.
