Hi, everyone. I made a map in map editor - randomly generated, edited only the players, went to play it and - surprise! It's turn 2 and an event message appears saying that one of the enemy wizards has been defeated.
Has this ever happened before? What has gone wrong? Obviously there is no point in a game where my opponent dies in turn 2. Why did he die and how to prevent it?
PS: I already tried to add strong defenses to his home-town, he still dies in the second turn, just like before.
I appreciate any help, thanks.

Ok, I found out what it was. I had set independent aI as easy, I turned it off and now he doesn't die in the second turn.
Although that seems to imply that turning independent AI on is never a good idea. In MOM the independents used to move around but in this game, better for them to stand still.
I'm a MOM fan, who just now started playing AOW. It's a great game, I even have the feeling it's better than MOM overall (the first game I ever thought was). It seems to have taken everything good from both MOM and Lords of Magic and merged together majestically well.
Ok, I will play my map with no independent AI. I'm playing 5 wizards at the same time (1 from each school except death), against 3 AI wizards set on "Lord". I'm just playing around and testing all the wizards and races.
