I'm using Vista 64 bit. I have the GOG.com version of AOW. I've unzipped the Warlock ruleset, Warlock_x64, and rule changer 1.5 to the appropriate folder.
The only thing I see are a bunch of .bat files that open for a split second, then close when I attempt to run them. Can anyone with a deeper understanding of how to get these mods up and running please help me out here?

I haven't used rule changer as it's not really necessary for my needs.
The command window will disappear quickly (unless waiting for your input) unless you start a prompt and execute the batch from there.
Unzip everything to the installation directory, starting with Warlock's ruleset 1.10. Warlock_x64's files will overwrite three files when you extract it. This is mandatory or you won't be able to install the rules.
On the Start menu select "Run" and type "cmd" (no quotes for this or any other command). Type "c:" or "d:" or whatever drive AOW is installed to, then type "cd [name_of_directory]" (no brackets) till you navigate all the way to your Age of Wonders directory.
In the root of your install directory, type rules2.bat. Follow the prompts. Once it finishes use the same prompt or open another command prompt and type "rules2.bat Warlock" in the same location.
Proceed to play. Tested working on GOG version, Windows 7 x64.
