I installed AOW2:WT on windows 7 and began to play the fire campaign. It has been one day later and I can not load my saved game.
Where does Windows 7 put the saved games? They is nothing visible stored in the folder...Program Files/Age of Wonders II/save.
Can anybody help?

I believe the path is shown in the save/load menu in the game. If you don't see them in folder - perhaps they are hidden? As for me, I use Win 8 and everything is in place.

I have Win 7 too.
They're all in C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Age of Wonders II\Save. Nothing special about it. Check for hidden files.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Yes, the compatibility tab revealed the hidden saved games so they are now visible inside the game. Thank you!
I have found out that windows 7 a messed-up nightmare when it comes to playing PC games...the majority of my games are simply unplayable these days. Come on Microsoft; you can do better than this!!!
Cheers!

Virtualization? Compatibility files? Never saw that or had it activated! I guess I'm lucky and I like Win7 very much.
