and Lost

For centuries the Halflings have defended these sacred isles as their
own, but after many a financial setbacks, the cheeful bunch were forced
to abandon strict maintenance over the isles, until factions began to accumulate
on the outer edges of the islands. Now a great evil has come from
sea and threatens to blacken the land. The seas are no longer safe.
The islands are threatened. The halfling's only hope is an ancient
legend that in their greatest need an invisible friend will come to their
aid. But that's only a legend and you probably don't care for that
sort of nonsense.

| The Marketplace

Greed! The Great motivator! For centuries the tiny isle
of Golt remained neutral of political struggles, asking only that the members
of their communities bring plenty of gold. While not always a nice
place, Golt remained free, until it allowed six of its most profitable
customers to build their own cities on the six islands on the far end of
the great Marketplace Isle. Thinking they were protected from private
interest, they ignored all the tell tale signs of imminent destruction,
trusting only in their elite guard to keep them safe.

In the Sarabi Desert, the most contested source of life is water.
In the midsts of a great drought five factions clashed for this most precious
resource. Only problem, was, there was a crocodile in the Water Hole.

In 1147 the Highmen and the Undead clashed around Trident Lake.
Traditionally the land of the Lizardmen, the reptilian race refused to
flee, despite the many warnings from both factions. But the Lizards knew
a few tricks, and the land of Trident Lake had never been captured by any
other race. The battle that followed only confirmed why Lizardmen were
considered the slipperiest of races. Stay Alive. Win any way you
can.
Background Story : From before you were a hatchling you lived andloved the cool waters of Trident Lake. Now suddenly two armies are fighting at either side of you threatening to destroy all that you love.The leaders of each faction refuse to listen to reason, and now it is time that you took things into your own scaley webbed hands. | Cramped Quarters

In 1100 LIR, the refugees from many races congregated in a mountainous
region called Elbow Gulch. They quickly divided into their own kind,
fearful of many rumors of imminent destruction. Trapped and impoverished,
the good, neutral and evil allies each had to carefully reconsider their
alliance. Would they remain allied and fight together with
less or would they break their alliances and fight for dominion over all
the area?
