PBEM version of this popular map (3200 downloads sofar for the original singleplayer version ID 134).
Used Tekk Zero's mapmakers addition to enhance it; Walking hero's and abilities normally not available.
Tuned certain artifacts for more balance; no more flying and physical immunity ;) , removed certain stats from user items (bows and wands) which didn't show up anyway.
Added a (oneway) teleporter for each race in its home region for more AI interaction.
Slightly adjusted some area's.
Hope you have as much fun (or more) as with the original.
This is a really good map and lots of fun. I played it as single player with the cpu set to king and it was a real challenge.
I liked the terrain a lot but will admit that I just didn't get the point of the "healing pool swamp". Looked neat but with about 25 healing pools in one place it was a bit over done.
The map excelled in the areas of balance and playability. I thought this version to be as good if not better than the original. I took off points for creativity because it is a redo, and for story as I really didn't notice one in the readme.file. Still I will play this map many more times.

I played it multi-player with my wife, her as Highmen, me as Lizard, and it was pure fun.
I put the settings as Lord for other 10 A.I races and let them all as "expander" and this is why it has been such fun. The map is so large, and full of seas and paths and mountains, which is already good, now with the teleports on the top of it, it has been crazy for over 150 turns. Every races was going everywhere at all time. Leaving any city or site unattended just meant loosing it without noticing, considering the huge number of places to control.
Finally, we felt a true balance from turn 150 to 200.
And killed them all from 200 to..... 303 !!!
We never played so many turns on any map.
One last thing : apart from us, the Humans have been the most present and powerful, and were the last one we got.
And also, being Lizard I was able not to migrate Human's cities and therefore generate Galleys which undoubtedly helped a lot.
