Behold the Valley of Wonders! There are treasures and magicks hidden in the mountains and buried underground. Seek them if you dare, for they are not unguarded, and only special troops and machines can access them.
A reclusive Frostling Queen, a vassal of the Humans, and her clan is rumored to live in the East. If you can defeat her guards and overthrow her, they could prove to be valuable allies in assaulting the Human island stronghold.
A small Azrac kingdom, also a vassal of the Humans, lies in the West. Conquer them, and you will gain access to a secret that could destroy the Humans.
You are not the only ones to seek the Valley. Barbarian raiders lust after the riches here - keep a sharp lookout!
-This is my version of the Valley of Wonders. I would credit whomever I got the base map from, but I don't remember who that was.
-Play with Leaders on or off, but Customize Leaders is better left off. Map is much more challenging with Leaders off.
-Allied Victory on or off.
-This map is intended for solo or co-op play.
I've now play-tested it myself as each race. The Undead definitely have the toughest challenge.
What I like the most about this map is that you can't rely heavily on super-heroes. You've got to have armies to do the grunt work, and you won't (shouldn't) have enough funds for those armies to all be lvl-3 and lvl-4 units.
You should find mana to be plentiful to encourage spell-casting, and the wizard towers are tailored to provide useful (and sometimes under-used) spells. Towers are also used to help buff the AI.
