An ancient evil lies dormant within the depths, the domain of earth in the Elemental Plane.

Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Lord of Fire has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against the Wizard Circle and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.
Soon, the Lord of Fire will return to the surface, and his eruption from the depths will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the races and wizards race to the epicenter of The Wizard Circle, the kingdoms will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.

Map Design: 4
Fun map. Really really easy though (all of the items are extremely powerful.. ended up with 5 super heroes. Would be better with more leveled items or leaders off). Well made, looks nice, engaging story. Not all of the timed releases worked (only got the fire sprites and demons, not the bone horrors and fire elementals). CPU (even on emperor) was really easy to destroy, especially with my super heroes in action. But overall a fun and awesome map! Great work!
I played as Undead:

Very easy map if you play it single player. I didn't even attempt to crack the underground, the wizards circle, or the Nordic Glow circle. I just built up my armies and conquered the AI leaders.
Easy to play, but replay value isn't very high without some tweaks.
-As the Undead, I was able to buy out some of the scouting undead parties that teleported in, which seemed unfair. Bone horrors, demons, etc.
-Lightning altars are awesome, but I don't feel it's balanced with the other altars, so should not be given to the Dwarves at their start. Maybe replace with Altar of Life.
-Lizards appear to have an added advantage with their start islands being difficult to access by their opponents. On the other hand, they are the odd man out with 3 good, 2 evil, and 1 neutral race in the game.
Cool concept, but the map design doesn't lend itself to supporting it. Everyone starts too close and are at each other's throats too quickly.

I'd recommend changing the map so that the factions can only reach each other by going through the Lord of Fire's domain. Perhaps use terrain inversion to put cavern walls above ground, or replace dwarves with halfings, and then use mountains to partition everyone. You woudn't want mountaineering units or flying transports in that case (perhaps remove all humans, too). Or put everyone below ground, maybe even in the Depths, to ensure that they will have to deal with the Lord of Fire and his minions before they can attack each other en masse.
Pretty cool story.
