I HIGHLY suggest playing this with Humans. For one, your enemy will not recruit the refuges near your base. For two, when they eventually get heroes, those heroes will NOT pick up the numerous items scattered about. This map is meant to be highly strategy based and fun!

By the by: I would NOT suggest upgrading your base: just pump out cavalry and siege.

Fully playable, but I doubt any match would last very long. With only two cities and no easily purchased heroes on either side, there is nowhere to go but to the enemy. If both players forces were destroyed, it could get very exascerbating for both sides to rebuild.

Balance: 3
This map is fairly balanced. I played both sides and was satisfied with the results. I think the Orcs have an advantage over the Humans - the Orc Warlord and Red Dragon prove much fiercer than the Air Galley and Cavalier. Still, the latter can certainly outmanoeuvre. A Zealot and a Dropship versus a Spartan and a Pelican? Close...

Creativity: 4
I like this map. It is your little dedication to Halo and looks really good. Way better than anything I could cook up in Blood Gulch :)

Nice symmetry and good use of teleporters a lá Halo. Looks good on the scanner, too.

Story/Instructions: 2
Well the classic story is there, but not much else. Some signs might be nice, not just text bubbles.

Additional Comments: Its good that you make maps that you like to show other people, but you may want to look at this map again. Between two humans, who knows what could happen. Vs. AI, over in a few turns. They can't buy indies. Heroes are over-powered and you have no hope of buying one unless you ignore your start indies or save up for several turns. Thus, items are made useless.

Keep making maps, I like your creativity. I also reviewed your other map released, Skyscape Invasion.
