Citadel of Doom is my decaying capitol and we start with a reasonable set of undead troops. I decided to split them in 3 and begin the exploration of these muddy caves.
A Haunted Crypt was already explored, which turned out a nice reward item that Countess Maere will put to good use in her upcoming fights.
On the surface, we explore rather then conquest... for now.
About the matters of magic... my spellbook couldn't be worse, I believe! Damn Gods! There is a lot of work to be done by our scholars: a nice combat spell is the priority, then a reasonable enchant and finally a global spell that can actually be useful. They better work fast or we'll replace them faster yet!

My system crashed during the fight. Magic was not involved and I believe this is the first time my system crashes during a fight because of something other than magic - which in turn happens very rarely. A restart message was generated; my apologies.
