Blackheart day 1
Capn Stryker! Take your crew towards our first objective. Make sure to make good use of that courtesan, it cost us many lives when we stole her from the natives. She can help us add to our armies. Use her wisely.
Why that Allweather.... what does he think he is doing, demanding even more gold? We'll show him, give him the gold but make sure he knows that the next objectives had better bring in double that gold or we'll make him walk the plank.
South Cove.... they must be running amok without guidance, we'll have to get down there and get control of those pirates, Rocky point seems to be about the same, they just need a firm hand and we know just the Capn to send down there, oh yes indeed.
Now... if only we could get to Goodfella sooner.... we know he'll be waiting for us but we will soon advance upon him, where he least expects us.

Rats.... boat bug when turn was ending caused a restart and replay of three battles (all went as planned and the same as the first time). Only difference is the infidels from the quest showed up in a worse spot for me. Oh well.
Other than that, exploration continues and is going well enough.

Arrrrr.... infidels in the homeland.... we abandon one objective and send some pirates to take care of them, too bad it will take another day or so to have enough troops to finish them off.... sure hope they don't storm our mighty citadel.
Elsewhere.... things go as planned.

Blackheart day 4
Hmmmmm most interesting... our scouts do well even though they died, the enemy ranger nearly died as did the druid and hero. Wait... how did they get a druid and a ranger so soon.... must have bought one of them.
We decide to invade with our troops.... yikes.... the dwarves have enlisted the aid of a bunch of nomads, a slaver and some horse archers. Rats. We move into position and the darn trees prevent us from getting all our troops into position. We do kill the abandoned druid but now we must decide. Do our 8 troops attack his 9, wait... there are a couple concealed units, he's got 11. Hmmm could there be more concealed units... where is his starting pixie and fairy.... it could be 8 vs 13 and even though we have a cavalier and cyclops we don't think it would be good to fight that battle. Let's see.... he builds another army, buys another one, summons another one.... and will have.... MORE. We will have 12 armies when we defend though, it will be a difficult decision for Goodfella.... whatever will he do?
Elsewhere.... things going right according to play (except for the infidels... who will die soon).

Blackheart day 5
We awake and watch a glorious battle. Goodfella was actually able to muster 16 troops, summoned a couple more hellhounds, brought his wounded ranger down and we saw the fairy join in the battle too. Our 12 troops held strong and we lost 7, but in the end Blackheart, Capn's Stryker and Righteous held strong, our cavalier and cyclops performed well and have nice shiny medals now. The rest of our support troops did not make, too bad we lost our gold medal courtesan, she did well and will be remembered for convincing a few strong troops to join us.
There should only be the dreamweaver left above ground, probably with a sloop, and maybe the pixie but since we didn't see that in the battle we can also assume it died, we'll be watching.
Today.... we rest from the many battles and move about. The elf town is captured of course and will be migrated soon enough. We firmly control the elf isle now and all the work from the last few days is coming together nicely.
Tomorrow... we will kill the infidels at the capital!

Blackheart day 6
The infidels have been taken care of! Finally! And the reward makes us think twice before we decide which way to go.
One battle for production resources did not go as planned.... it was terribly bloody and we lost more than we wanted, not sure it was worth it. Income is rough, we have so many ideas on what we want to do but that is a small thing to complain about right now.
No sign of the dreamweaver or any other elves above ground. Not sure if they are hiding out or not.

Well... not too busy but not too slow either. Things go as planned in our expansion efforts. We are watching closely for sings of Goodfella, we're sure to see something soon.

Blackheart day 9
Our quiet opponent gives us no hints as to what he is planning next... we can only assume the worst will hit us when/where we least expect it.
So, as we do not wish to give out any hints either, the staging continues for the next phase of our operations... or it could be said it was another quiet day for us.

Well... we spring a few surprises on Goodfella as well. Not sure he'll appreciate us showing up in his lands.

Blackheart day 12
We capture the orc town underground and we can see the dwarf capital. A couple flame throwers and a crossbowman wait there for us. An abomination rushing back to help defend. A lone dwarf trying to buy more abominations from the critter den. All presence above ground of the Dwarves has been removed except for one pesky Efreet. Red and his cohorts fled and are probably rushing to the capital. Can they get there in time? Our troops are poised and ready to see what will be sitting there when we wake in the morning.

Blackheart day 15
Well... no sign of the orc hero, no sign of the bats... not sure what else we don't see.
We do see 24 armies in the capital, fortunately the stronger ones have gone to bottle up the western opening. Our 16 troops stand ready in the west, many with shiny medals but with only the ability to attack with 8 leaves us in a bit of a quandry, our tank troops will arrive soon enough.
We finish researching our survivalist so that puts our income at well over 300/turn and army building is going on fast and furious at several locations. Our supply of boats is busy ferrying them from here to there to protect our borders and support the siege. Nearly every city is staying busy in that regard but it could slow down some as we also just finished clearing out the treasure troves above ground too so no extra bonus cash coming our way.
Well.... our main stack is within striking distance of the capital now, got 16 or so there with more on the way. We'll see if he shifts some stronger troops to the capital, dispels some of our enchantments, summons more efreet or what. We shall see what trick Goodfella has up his sleeve.

Yes Goodfella survives (and having two wizard towers will survive longer than he lets on). We are ever closer to kicking him out of his main tower though.
Losses in the west were unfortunate but with a steady stream of troops above ground they will be replaced soon enough. More troops are rushing to the front from several directions as things are quickly coming to head. The next few days will decide much.

And they are doing a great job of it too... and with all their mana it doesn't help our cause either. Darn Efreets.
