The latest version is MP 1.4.
The RR5 mod is a big improvement for MP games compared to 1.4. But there are still some weird things in it and Roger has left the community and won't update his mod any further. Thus Gandalf and me decided to make a new mod for the MP community.
The last couple of weeks many people have asked me when our online mod would be ready. I've been very busy lately and couldn't work on this as much as I wanted to. But now the mod is finally submitted.
I've read many suggestions both here in the forums and in gamespy and after the comments of Gandalf these are the changes that we came up with. It is impossible to make everybody happy with a mod made for the whole community, but I think that the majority will agree with most of these changes.
All the recruitment structures like the inn, druids circle and circus are now razeable. All races can build 2 new units: the Rebuilder and the Tower Builder. Tower Builder: available in the builders hall, 6 def, 6 res, 15 HP, 32 MP and 50 gold The pioneer is now available in the siege workshop and loses the rebuild structure and build roads ability. All archers lose strike
All heroes get +1 att and +1 def.
All flyers get floating as well.
Removed fire weakness from frostling heroes.
Resurgence has been removed as a hero upgrade.

Sphinx -1 res and receives blurred on gold (was 16 res)
Made treeman a good unit
Fairy dragon has +1 def (was 12)
Steam tank increased speed to 36 mp (was 32)
Saints cost reduced to 150 (was 170)
Rogue cost reduced to 60 (was 65)
Leprechaun loses holy strike on silver
Giant warrior costs reduced to 170 (was 180)
Succubus +2 hp (was 13)
Incarnate +4 MP (was 32 MP)
Wyvern rider +2 hp (was 15)
Death Knigh gets 7 damage (was 6)
Wasteland concealment for vampire on silver
Reaper +1 att (was 13) and has pass wall. The reaper loses regeneration and unholy champion with silver medal
Harvester +4 MP (was 28 MP)
Lord +3 HP (was 30 HP)
Vision 1 for fairy, healing on silver medal
Bonedragon loses lifestealing. But gains regeneration and 22 HP.
Phoenix: -2 hp (was 26)
Lurker +4mp (to 32), cost increased to 40
Water elemental is returned to 1.3 stats
Removed fire weakness from giant wyrm
Hell hound loses 1hp (was 13), and receives night vision at gold
Dire boar +4mp (was 36)
Removed fire weakness from ice dragon
Magic servant gains magic relay ability at gold
Chaos spawn cost reduced to 80 gold, 50 mana (was 100 / 60)
Repeater Ballista gains marksmanship 1, MM2 at silver and MM3 at gold
Golden dragon has holy strike
Black dragon has death strike
Grasp increased to 18 att / 13 dmg (was 17/12)
Ram attack increased to 16 (was 12)
Venomous spit 12 att/8dam (was 11/10)
Flame throwing and frost blowing can be used in red movement.
Possess increased att to 18 (was 16)
Added the attack and damage values to the description of all the spells that are casted immediately without needing to select a target, such as tremors or hellfire.
Banish summoned cost increased from 20 to 25
Bind summoned cost increased from 40 to 45
Double gravity has holy, death, fire, cold, poison, lightning and magic damage.
Crash Gates cost 20 mana (was 10)
Poison domain +5 upkeep (was 20 upkeep)
Dark gift upkeep lowered from 4 to 3
Weaken -1 CP and +30 research (was 11 CP and 90 research)
Damnation -5 upkeep (was 30 upkeep)
Blazing comet damage reduced from 9 to 8
Wildfire -30 research and -10 CP (was 150 research and 30 CP)
Skin of oil returned to 1.3 stats (-1 to att, def, res and dam)
Mass confusion -5 CP and +2 attack (was 30 CP and 5 attack)
Firestorm increased cost to 70 and decreased damage to 11 (was 60 / 14)
Hellfire -2 att (was 18 att)
Healing showers heals up to 5 health (was 6)
Great hail +40 research (was 160 research)
Spring rains +70 research and +10 upkeep (was 180 research and 20 upkeep)
Healing -1 CP (was 11 CP)
Mighty Meek upkeep reduced from 5 to 4 mana
Wind walking -10 CP and -2 upkeep (was 50 CP and 8 upkeep)
Violent Storm increased cost to 50 (was 22)
removed “damaging all units only on impact of casting” from the description.
Tower guard has 18 att 6 dam (was 14/8)
-Air: recall hero moved to cosmos sphere
-Death: Animate Dead removed, Made Spider’s Curse (lvl 1) Level 2, Domain of Darkness (lvl 2) level 3 (very useful against humans, useless vs.AI); Animate Ruins(lvl 3) to Level 4.
-Earth: Removed Level Terrain (lvl 3) and Raise Terrain (lvl 4) and moved crash gates (lvl 2) to lvl 3.
- Fire: Removed anarchy (lvl 3) and made wildfire lvl 2 (was lvl 1)
- Life: Move Mighty Meek (lvl1) to cosmos
- Water: was already 5/5/5/5. Static Shield moves to lvl 2 (was lvl 3), and Mist Cloak Level 3 spell (was lvl 2). Mist cloak gets a radius of 2.
-Cosmos: Double Gravity moves to lvl 2 (was 3)
All wizard skills have research cost 500 except enchanter 400, technophobe gives 3 extra sphere picks, pacifist excludes war mage but doesn’t exclude constructor anymore.
Bureaucrat and decadence no longer exclude merchant and survivalist.
War shrine returned to 1.3 stats
Stronger defenders on magic catalysts
New spell rewards for the shrines. In 1.4 many of the spell rewards were lvl 1 spells, but those spells are never offered for a reward. The order shrine gave only 4 spells what made the change of being offered the golden dragon spell very high.
