What I want to know is what I must do when I, for any reason, have to Uninstall the game or have to Reinstall the game or when the computer might crash, to keep my campaign progress in the game.
I'm afraid I will lose all my time spent in the campaign when *something* happens.
To illustrate if you don't understand I quote a similar thing from the Warcraft 3 readme:
Quote:
The Warcraft III\save and Warcraft III\maps folders on your hard drive will not be removed by default. These folders can be backed up at any time for safe keeping.
If you do not want to save your maps or single-player profiles, delete the Warcraft III\maps and Warcraft III\save folders on your hard drive by opening "My Computer", opening the drive letter to which Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos was installed and deleting the Warcraft III folder found within.
Quote:
Before you remove any previous installations you may want to save your single-player profiles and any maps you have downloaded. First, back up any single-player profiles in the Warcraft III/save folder and maps from the Warcraft III/maps folder to a safe place. Next, make sure that any previous installations of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos are completely removed. After you uninstall the game, delete the Warcraft III folder from your hard drive manually and empty your Recycle Bin.
Is there a similar thing for Age of Wonders 2 for save keeping?
What to do? Save games? Are there any single player profiles you have to back up?
Thanks.
