Mountains, all those bloody mountains, we need to find a way through them to cleanse these lands of monstrosities. I send out brace sir Uther immediatly to tame these lands before we start crossing the mountains.

Turn 1
My scouts have reported Humans beyond the mountains. Humans are pale, sickly things, no match for those descended from the mighty Dragons. I have not managed to recruit any of the natives of this area, but my small strike-force of Draconians should be more than sufficient to clean out the rabble I see nearby. Still, it never hurts to be too careful, so I’m preparing enchantments that will make my force unstoppable…

Day 2
Today Sir Uther Pendragon and his loyal band of soldiers continue to make this land habitable. We overheard a rumor about refugees from an underground city, perhaps we should look it out.

Turn 2
I’ve managed to “convince” the local mill owners to pay me taxes. The foolish Halflings almost begged to give me money once I dispatched their guards. My empire grows already.
My scouts have informed me of some refugees to the south. Perhaps I will send some troops that direction to see what’s what.

Day 3
The locals continue to resist the purification off this land. Luckily my brave warriors do not shy away from a fight.

Turn 3
Today I found a small Draconian village to add to my empire. I only had to show them a few shiny coins to get them to join my forces. What bumpkins! I’ve left several barrels of Sang du Dragon whiskey in their town, hopefully it will encourage them to breed faster so that I can get some use out of them. For now, I will simply continue my explorations.

Day 4
my knights have found a sanctuary for our troops today, merely stepping into the building healed all wounds, this should speed up our exploration business.

I am starting to feel hampered by my slowest troops. My Slither is so slow that it would be faster to pick him up and carry him. Too bad he weighs 500 pounds. Time for troop rejigging…

Day 5
hm some elf tree-huggers decided I wasn't "respectfull" to "mother nature" so now they wander around my lands doing whatever tree-huggers do. Tomorrow they'll hug their last tree.

I finish one quest and get another. The spirits can be tiresome at times. At least my scouts are making progress exploring this area. I feel time weighing on me, I’m sure my opponent is not relaxing in his battlements. I must form a plan that will take advantage of my forces and locale. My brain hurts already.

Day 6
The treehuggers are now fertilising the trees they loved so much. Our land is one step closer to being cleansed.

Quest? Done. Prize? Unimpressive. The spirits seem lackluster in this area. No way my troops will worship them if they keep this up.

My immediate surroundings have been purged, we're aiming slightly outward from this day on.

The drakes, they must be coming, I'll have to set up a defensive perimeter, a soon as possible.

Turn 8: A significant number of my forces were killed by Halfling with planks of wood. If those guys were still alive, I’d kill them myself for incompetence!

Turn 10:
An assault which seemed well planned turned out to be ill-advised. I barely scraped my forces back together enough to turn tail and run. I’ll have to re-think my strategy before trying that again.

On this day, the battle that I fled from a few days past was conquered with no losses. That will teach those subterranean ninnies who’s boss!

Killed my opponent’s scout today, not that it helps now that he’s seen my exploratory force. Oh well, one less minor annoyance.
