Wow, what an offensive topic to a supposedly contructive forum.

I hate to appear old-fashioned, but I think I'd wait to play the game when it is released before I would add anything to this thread.

The one defect that most turns me off is critical posts like this one before I can even try out the game. :P

I agree with TalonThorn -- it might just be my own wacky opinion, but I think its pretty difficult to say for sure what aspects of the game "are poorly thought out" and to give constructive suggestions for patches when we have not had a chance to actually sit down, play the game, and see what sort of tweaks the devs have made based on feedback from the beta demo. :-)

Alex, what made you think the full version would be just like the beta demo? I mean, not only are some features disabled and some features ramped up in the beta demo, but the full version also has been tweeked to address issues identified in the beta demo. How can we even begin to know what the full version is like? It's a whole different tamale.

My only real complaint about AoW 1 was the instability of the multiplayer. Even after patches and fixes, we still have crash after crash when playing it. If AoW2 has a stable multiplayer on release, I will be content, and put up with any other problems.
