>>Black Knight already stated that only the one stack is benefited. But better one stack than no stack.<<
No. Much simpler and more satisfying would be the feature where you can change the order in your stack, which would also represent the formation then. This would solve all our formation issues.
>>The movement exploit, that I use all the time shouldn't be allowed, if I only grab one unit for extra movement and attack with that one unit, I should only see that one unit in combat. Unless the AI is taught to use the exploit also then it's all good <<
Bah. NOTHING can save the AI. The movement exploit is ok because my human opponents can also use it. The AI can't tie it's own shoelaces, let alone lead an army. Also, because of the adjecent hex rule, the current situation is more consistent (I do hope I do not have to explain why), and I like consistency.
>>Drag and drop in the party floater was brought up before and the devs believed it to be too time consuming for the players.<<
BAh! Playing games is time-consuming in any case! Hell, let's just kill the game industry! :| A reasonable alternative would be to write a decent code, based on a good set of rules, that automaticly puts the units in an acceptable formation.>>Currently, the first unit in the floater is placed at the back (except when you have few units), which is atleast some consilation.<<
Yes, and to use this trick, the player will have to spend even more time on experimentation, splitting and combining the same stack in different ways. No help there.
