Hi all
I don't normally make such a mistake,
but it seems that after playing quite a bit
of AOW-SM I just assumed that AOW2 with it's
high review ratings would be worth buying.
But I see now that most people advise
skipping 1 and 2 and just getting SM.
Perhaps someone would like to purchase
AOW2 from me. $40 If so let me know.
Disk and Manual in good condition.
Box is somewhat worn. Lighthouse7@ureach.com
On the other side of the proverbial coin...
I have seen at least one comment that
said AOW2 and AOW-SM are just different.
So I may take a closer look at AOW2 and maybe
I could even do some tunneling on certain maps.
Im really glad that I have the the SM thing.
But perhaps I have under-estimated the fun of
just playing around with AOW2.
I like the jungle terain that I see in it.
Though setting a path for travel seemed kind of difficult.
Also it seemed to have some music that was not in SM.
Only one sub-terain level but that doesn't seem so bad.
I might play some PBEM with a creative winning
condition like....first one to capture two out
six towns on a list. Just to make it interesting.
Since high level units are so powerful and make
the low level units seem insignifigant,
maybe there could be a rule on how many
high level unit's a player can have.
Again just to make it more interesting
in Pbem or online mode.
Im hoping someone will write back and
say how wonderful AOW2 actually is. lol
But I won't be too surprised if they
suggest I stick with SM instead.
